Surprisingly good Chinese delivery. NYC style. Quick friendly delivery (even though it was late) and super fresh and hot food. Love the chili sauce that comes on the side. Something different that I haven't seen at other places. Big greasy, spicy combo meal. Goes great with 6 beers-

Nothing is worse then waiting 30 minutes for your dinner and having the order messed up or even missing something. I have placed at least 15 delivery orders from Chinese Chef and never once have they had an error. The menu is pretty much what you would expect for take out/delivery. I have never been to their restaurant for pick up so I can not review the location but the customer service on the phone is great and I have never had to wait more then 30 minutes for an order, even on a pouring Friday night when you know that not a soul in Florida is heading out. I usually get one of the combination dinners for $7.50 and it's huge. I can easily get 2-3 meals out of it and at under $20.00 for two adults with left overs it's a steal! My favorite side/ apps would definitely be the egg rolls ( they are really good) fried wontons, crab rangoon and steamed dumplings. I've tried other local delivery Chinese spots but either I get a stomach ache after or a throbbing head ache from the MSG but not form here. I'm always A-ok. For delivery in Downtown Lake Worth this is the spot.

The food took 1.5 hours (we ordered soup, lo mein, and one dinner combo). Called after an hour to see where the food was, they said HE is on his way, 5 min. 15 min later he hadn't arrived, called again. They then hung up on us. SHE arrived 10 minutes later, and said something about us canceling the order which we never did. We then realized they probably forgot our order. Gave us our cold food which wasn't very fresh or good at all. Don't waste your time or money on a meal from here.

If I could give zero stars I would. The woman who answered the phone could barely speak or understand English and I had to repeat everything 3 times. Over an hour after placing my order she calls back and says the driver tried to call me and couldn't reach me....found out it was because she gave the driver the wrong number.....the driver then calls me and tells me that they are canceling the order because I'm too far away even though Google maps says I'm 4.6 miles away. This was the worst delivery experience I've ever had. Unreal. Now I have to call them back to make sure they refund my credit card.

Love their food! First Chinese food I've liked in Florida - reminds me of the American-Chinese food from up north. They are really friendly and fast. Their egg rolls are the best!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
